Tobago Secondary Schools are expected to step-up their preparations for the 2008 Trinidad and Tobago Secondary Schools Football League when the new term starts on Monday.

The Tobago Zone season will kick off at the Goodwood Recreation facility on September 9, giving coaches a mere week to fine-tune their preparation in the quest for honours in the League. Most of the schools began their preparations early in the August vacation, but some coaches complained that the attendance should have been better. However, they will be hoping that with the re-opening of school, the players will be more committed.

Mason Hall Secondary School coached by Tony Keith is the defending League champions while Scarborough Secondary is the defending Inter-Col champions.

The 2008 Tobago League and Inter-Col champions will be hoping to break Tobago's drought in National competitions.

Tobago last won a National title in 2001.
