Joseph-Warrick – No consultation on women’s football
PRESIDENT of the TT Women’s League Football (TT WoLF) Susan Joseph-Warrick is upset that the WoLF is not contacted when important decisions involving women’s football are made in this country, pointing to the alleged hiring of Stephan DeFour recently to run the women’s teams.
THE 2019 local women’s football season will kick off today when TTWOLF (TT Women's League Football) hosts its seven-a-side tournament. The tournament is open to TTWOLF members only and will take place from 10 am to 6 pm at the Eddie Hart Ground in Tacarigua.
Trincity Nationals, one of the dominant forces in local women’s football underlined their credentials by lifting yet another title on the weekend.
Susan Joseph-Warrick has replaced Sharon O’Brien as the new President of Women’s League Football (WoLF). Warrick was voted in as President at the organization’s Annual General Meeting held on April 25, 2019. She will be supported by Kenrick Hoyte (Vice President), Christine Elizabeth Ann Rose ( Treasurer), Nadia James (Assistant Secretary Operations), Annleyes Collette (Assistant Secretary Administration), Claire George (Assistant Secretary Competition), Arnold Murphy and Mohan Persad (Ordinary Members), Shari John (PRO) and Jamilya Mohammed (General Secretary).
“OUR MOTTO is Discipline, Dedication (and) Success and we believe with a commitment to the first two, the third is inevitable.” It is a philosophy that has served as the driving force for Trincity Nationals women’s football team since its inception. It is one that is routinely enforced within the minds of the players by coach Joel Warrick and is one of the major reasons for the club’s undying resilience.
PETROTRIN registered their second straight win in the Super League, of the 2018 TT WoLF (Women’s League Football), with a 3-1 result over Club Sando at Guaracara Park, Pointe-a-Pierre on Saturday.
TRINCITY Nationals and St Ann’s Rangers played to a 1-1 draw in Trinidad and Tobago’s Women League of Football (WoLF) action at Eddie Hart ground on Saturday.
The Trinidad and Tobago Women’s League Football will be hosting a seven-a-side football fiesta on March 25th at Eddie Hart Grounds starting at 10:00am.
