East Zone champions St Augustine SC and North Zone runners-up Step By Step will contest Sunday's final of the Trinidad and Tobago Women's League Football (WoLF) First Division Big Eight competition. St Ann's Rangers and Debe All Stars will battle for the third and fourth places.

St Augustine SC reached the final with a 1-0 victory over St Ann's Rangers at the Edinburgh 500 ground on Sunday. Naomie Guerra got the lone goal of the match which was played under very heavy conditions and did not allow for good football.

However, St Augustine coach Desiree Sarjeant expressed joy to be in the final and was very proud of her charges.

The second semi-final was played at Woodford Lodge Recreational Ground, Chaguanas, where Step by Step overcame South Zone runners-up Debe All Stars by a 2-1 margin.

The game began with Step by Step taking the match to Debe in very business-like fashion. Eventually, they took the lead through former T&T Under-17 World Cup striker Jo-Marie Lewis, who put in the rebound after her powerful initial shot was parried by the goalkeeper.

Debe stepped up their game, but it was Step by Step that took a 2-0 lead through Jamila Murphy, who finished off a good move which began with passes from Tamar Watson and Lewis.

Step by Step then lost former overseas pro Ahkeela Mollon who was sent off in the 39th minute for a tug on Kayla Tayla, the former T&T Under-17 Women's World Cup midfielder.

Taylor was awarded a free-kick from which she scored to make the match 2-1 at the halfway stage. In the second half, Debe used their player advantage to dominate, but could not capitalise further.
