DOC'S Harlem Strikers had to come from behind away to Las Lomas United to capture the Under-13 division of the Central Football Association (CFA) Youth Competition at Chaguanas Indoor Sports Complex last week.

The competition saw Harlem winning the Under-13 division, while Ralph Coaching School and Crown Trace FC took the Under-9 and Under-11 divisions, respectively.

Las Lomas United took the lead in the U-13 final through Emmanuel Russell, but Harlem Strikers rallied to end normal time with a 1-1 draw after Kurt Melony got them an equaliser.

Harlem Strikers then won the final 3-2 through kicks from the penalty spot.

In the semi-finals, Strikers played to a 0-0 draw with Dunstan Williams Soccer Academy, before also winning 3-2 with kicks from the spot.

In the quarter-finals, Strikers, of Frederick Settlement, Caroni, got past Cap Off Youths FC 2-0 with a double from Alexis Blackwell.

In the U-11 division, Crown Trace FC emerged convincing winners after crushing Marabella Family Crisis Centre 4-1 with goals from Theophilus Bourne, Aaron Best and a double from Akeel McCarthy.

Marabella's lone goal came from star player Nikel Rawlins.

In the U-9 finals, last year's Under-8 champs Ralph Coaching School got the better of Crown Trace FC 2-0 to take the title.
