GUAYA UNITED stayed top of the CNG National Super League Premiership Division, despite battling to a 3-3 draw with Marabella Family Crisis Centre, in one of three rescheduled matches on Thursday.
Juma Clarence pulled one back in the 50th, Emmanuel Adams equalised in the 63rd and Kevin Moodie put Marabella 3-2 up in the 75th.
However, Guaya made sure that they earned a crucial point when Kerdell Alfred got the game-leveller, in the 86th.
La Horquetta SA jumped one place to 12th after a come-frombehind 2-1 victory over Petrotrin Palo Seco at the Palo Seco Velodrome.
Palo Seco benefitted from an own goal in the third minute, but La Horquetta restored parity in the ninth minute courtesy Fedric Commissiong.
And Andre Rampersad notched the winner, in the 70th.
And the other scheduled fixture on the day, Matura ReUnited against Siparia Spurs, was abandoned during the half-time interval due to a faulty lighting system at the Matura Recreation Ground. The hosts were leading 1-0 when the game was prematurely halted.
