A sturdy left-footed defender who is strong in the tackle and in the air. He spent three seasons of his career playing in the eircom Premier League in the Republic of Ireland with Bohemian F.C. Dublin, Shelbourne United and Longford Town. John also played with the Boston Bulldogs and New Orleans Riverboat Gamblers of the USL's A-League. Graduated from American University in May 1999, with a degree in Business Administration, specializing in International Marketing ... spent two years at Junior College powerhouse Yavapai College (Ariz.). The former Presentation College, San Fernando captain has a bright future ahead of him.

After stints with South Africa’s Orlando Pirates, and Irish clubs Shelbourne, Bohemians FC and Longford Town, New England Revolution signed him in May 2004. Work permit issues have stopped him from signing for English clubs Colchester United and Wycombe Wanderers.
A regular starter in the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ preliminaries, he also played in the 1998 and 2002 qualification campaigns.
